How to measure.
- Place a piece of paper against a wall and stand on it with your heels touching the wall. Wear the socks you’d typically wear.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark. Repeat for the other foot.
- Add 5-10mm to the longest measurement for toe room, then compare with our size chart.
Tips: If you're converting from New Zealand or Australian sizes, use US sizing. Womens and Mens shoes are unisex.

I love my orbas!! This is my second pair, I don't think I'll buy any other sneaker. I gave it a 4 star for two reasons: 1. This pair seems a bit bigger than last time, so my feet have a lot of room. I wear orthotics and they slip when I go downhill now. But they're still comfy for everyday wear. 2. I'm not sure if it's cos they're bigger, or if it's a design trait I didn't notice in my last pair, but I can feel the cushioning compress when I take a step. It's a weird feeling. I love the fact they're designed in NZ, ethically made and have an effortless design. ❤️

We are interested in hearing further feedback on the following, because everyone's experience can differ. You recently received (product and batch): SKU GH4OWH25A39. And you'd previously been wearing: SKU GH1OWH21A39-B. The first batch in 2025 (25A), and in 2021 (21A), respectively. We use a consistent "last" to make the shoes, meaning the uppers should be the same size, but the rubber compound formulation has changed a little in order to improve (reduce) the biodegradation-in-soil time on disposal. Are you finding it a little less firm? and therefore it may have more give, causing the shoe to feel a little roomier? In your experience, can this be addressed by lacing more tightly? First off - customer service was excellent and hats off to this NZ company for making things right after a technical mishap! So A++ customer service on that front. The fact that these shoes are fully domestically compostable (and tested by Business Insider to prove so against others), B-Corp and not ridiculously expensive or impractical as shoes is no mean feat. That alone is worth some big praise! I wear custom insoles for my super flat feet and ordered a size up by foot length which fits perfectly. Unlike some shoes, these still have some cushion to them with the cork insoles removed so super comfy for all-day wear with insoles which is very important for me. The materials are quite burly as other reviewers note - durable which is good, but suspect it will take a wee while to break them in. Will be interesting to see how the soles go given they don't have a tonne of visible tread - no issues so far though! They seem like a great pair of shoes and I've loved wearing them - the comfort and sustainability are the main draws for me, with tread and burly materials being a little nitpicky but not deal breakers. Please make more styles!

But the only first month wearing in town just walking, not everyday, the sides started getting apart 😭 and I washed the light stain carefully flowing the instructions on website and another part got peeling apart 😔 l understand about All the material is bio gradable but the adhesive seems to be searched better ❤️🩹 to enjoy wearing them for the long time as possible... I was expecting to have to break new shoes in, but they were super comfy from the start. I prefer to wear boots, and haven’t bought a pair of shoes in literally decades. But I wanted some good walking shoes - that ideally don’t destroy the planet - and these are great. I will buy definitely buy more.

I love the style and colour. I have found them to be very stiff and not as comfortable as I had hoped. I am hoping they will loosen up after more wears. Love the concept.
Quite stiff to wear at first. Got to break them in. The idea is great. Better on young feet. Not ideal for long walks.

Such a great looking shoe, really classic styling and goes with everything. I love the fact that I can wash them, the cork insoles are so healthy for my feet! And at the end of life I don't have to feel guilty about the environmental impact of this shoe on the planet.
The toebox is just a bit narrow but the materials are some of the best on planet EARTH! Really STYLISH! AND FASHIONABLE!!!!! I LOOK HANDSOME!
Love everything this company stands for! I've been looking for a pair of white shoes to wear with dresses and skirts and these are the perfect for the job. The off-white colour is really nice, definitely not as fluorescent as the bleached shoes you may be used to but they look white when you're wearing them. The insoles come out easily for orthopedic insoles if you need that, but they've got enough arch support that I've actually been wearing them without my insoles and they've been comfy! They come feeling a bit stiff and smelling quite strongly of rubber but that fades relatively quickly. Other thing to note if you have wide feet is that the toe box is not particularly wide, it's pretty standard for a shoe of this type. So excited about their recycling policy - I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a new pair of white basics!

This is my second pair. I already own a pair of black and off white ones, loved them so much I bought a second pair in off white. These shoes are great. So comfortable, look good and love the fact they are so eco-friendly.
Love the cork soles and the stitched eyelets. My sister calls them grandma shoes but I think they are beautiful! Lovely and squishy underfoot, only improvement is that they could be a little less pointy in the toe. That does rub after a few KMs. Will be back for more definitely!

Really happy with my shoes! The cork inners are super comfy and so far, no blisters, which is rare for me with new shoes. Recommend! Perhaps if you have wide feet, they may not be as suitable.
